Organisation générale

The first two years are common to all students; the third year of the Bachelor's degree corresponds to specializations chosen by the student, according to his or her career plans and with the help of the teaching staff.
The History major offers 3 courses:
1 – History and Society
2 – History Geography and Political Dynamics
3 – Teaching and Cross-Disciplinary Sciences

Course Prerequisites

The History degree requires a good disciplinary knowledge, a taste for reading all types of sources (texts, images, archaeology, monuments, etc.) and a mastery of writing, working and reasoning methods. Rigor is also a prerequisite for historical criticism and the methodology specific to history. Curiosity about foreign cultures is a plus. Last but not least, a high level of motivation, backed up by a career plan in line with the course requirements, will be a key selection criterion.
